Sushil Gaikwad, founder of Positive People's Foundation, says, “Now HIV. The dream of married persons will come true.”
People get scared when they say HIV. People's feeling is that HIV will kill a person. At the same time, HIV. Positive people are still looked down upon. Although it is true that there is no vaccine that can overcome HIV even today, scientists have been able to control the HIV disease due to the various discoveries made in the current modern medical field. Modern ART With this treatment method, the HIV infected patient can lead a normal life. The death rate due to HIV is negligible. At the same time, ART has been introduced by the government at various places in the country. A center has been started where free treatment is provided. Due to this treatment method, the amount of HIV virus in the blood of patients decreases and HIV virus does not spread from one person to another. Due to this treatment method, it has been proven that in exceptional circumstances, an HIV infected person can get married to a healthy person if the viral load test is reported as TND (Target Not Detected) by taking art regularly.
However, due to lack of knowledge and awareness about the disease, many young women are mentally exhausted due to many complications. No one comes forward for marriage fearing that people will know about their positive status. In such a situation, 'Sushil Gaikwad' a social worker from Nashik started implementing a beautiful initiative. He established an organization named "Positive People's Foundation" to address the plight of HIV-affected people. He carried out many charitable activities through this organisation.
The most laudable activity among them is the "Vadu Var Sukhtar Melava".
Sushil fulfilled the dream of many people living with HIV. He has married more than 200 HIV infected couples. Since all the information is kept confidential in all these processes, they have received an enthusiastic response from young women living with HIV. Basically no one usually helps him financially for all these activities, he has implemented many such activities for HIV affected people at his own expense. It was his feeling that the victims should be able to live with dignity and live like common people.
Sushil Gaikwad Sir of Positive People Foundation says about HIV, “I have been doing social service for HIV affected patients since last 2013. Recently, our Positive People Foundation organized a program to distribute free sarees to widows and orphans in Beed and Nashik, and by interacting with the women, they were guided on how to remarry and start a new life without getting tired of the situation. Also marriages of some widows and orphans were arranged by the organization.
"Boys and girls who live in constant depression will not live in a state of fear anymore, we will be disgraced in the society... We also advised the boys and girls who think that we have no choice but to commit suicide to live with proper guidance and in this way, a lot of financial loss occurred in the incident of gas cylinder explosion in Malad, Mumbai. As a result, destitute women there were also given ten sarees and two months' worth of food (ration). Among the many philanthropic activities carried out through this organization, the most laudable one is the Vadhu Var Sukhtar Melava.”
He further says, “Marriage is a sacred bond..a bond of seven births of sweet relationship..”Marriage” is a new beginning of a new life for every person..but for this happy moment to come in the life of HIV positive young women, our organization "Positive People Foundation" A grand "Vadhu Var Sukhtar Melawa" was organized in Pune..Thousands of our young ladies participated in this..This small effort we have made to help them find a life partner...HIV infected person can live a full life, get married, can give birth to a healthy baby.. if you have any questions, contact us if you want to participate in our organization's various activities.. and finally we want to tell the young generation today that abstinence during sexual intercourse is very important.”
His organization guides HIV-positive people after marriage so that they can give birth to healthy babies. And the said organization is not Nashik but works in entire Maharashtra. Today it is necessary to help and support such a social worker by the common people, the dignitaries of the society, the politicians. We salute the efforts of Sushil Gaikwad sir and wish him all the best for his future social service.
